Working Dogs

We are very proud of our four therapy dogs, and their owners.

Two dogs work with therapists during counseling sessions, and two work with children.

Baxter

Zoe

Zoe's owner relates that Zoe just seems to know when to go to very distressed clients and provide comfort by sitting at their feet, kissing them or offering hugs.

Baxter is now a Certified Therapy Dog.

Bailey

Maizy

Maizy is now a "Tail Waggin' Tutor",  a program sponsored by Therapy Dog International, which helps children with their reading skills.

Bailey goes to school and helps with anxious students and readers.

Monk

"Just wanted to let you know, that Monk and I passed our Pet Partners evaluation through ElderPet, and are now an official pet therapy team.  I'm so proud of Monk, as we earned the highest qualification, and we can go into not just predictable but also complex environments."
